Researchers with disabilities

Archives and Local Studies in Wolverhampton is accessible via the main entrance on Molineux Alley or the side entrance from the carpark. An automatic door gives access to the building.

There is a lift to the public search room, which is on the first floor.

Toilet facilities are accessible to wheelchair users.

A Minicom service is available for users who wish to contact us.

Microform viewers

A mix of microform viewers are available. Some have electric winding mechanisms and others are operated by hand. There is a wide range of magnifications spread across the machines.

Extra room for wheelchairs

A number of machines have extra room around them to accommodate wheelchairs or a helper. A height-adjustable table suitable for wheelchair users is also available. 

Car parking

Car parking is available at the rear of the Molineux Hotel Building, accessed via Whitmore Hill.
