Depositing material in the archives

Most of the material preserved in the city archives has been given to us by private individuals, families and organisations.

We will accept further documents, either as gifts or on permanent loan, for storage and preservation. Also we will accept temporary loan of items for copying purposes only. Documents, films, photographs and other items of historical interest are welcomed.

Further information

If you have items that may be of interest to your fellow citizens then contact the archives team.
