Archive copying services
Archives and Local Studies staff can provide you with copies of many of the items in our care. Subject to certain restrictions such as Copyright and protecing the original documents we can usually undertake:
- photocopying of a variety of documents
- printouts from microfilm and fiche
- photography and microfilming
- supply prints or transcriptions from parish registers
- copies of newspapers
- copies of electoral registers
- copies from our extensive photographic collection
Copyright
Some of the material we hold is still in copyright - staff can advise you of the details, although they cannot offer legal advice.
Damaging original material
Some material is too large to photocopy or would be at risk of serious damage by the photocopying process. In these cases we will advise you of alternative copying options.
