Wolverhampton has got everything covered to help you enjoy a summer in the city! A huge choice of events are on offer including live music, theatre, comedy and film to art, dance, outdoor events and sport.
Highlights include:
- The Charles Vance Summer Rep Season including Murder Without Crime and Gaslight at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre
- Sporting events such as boxing and KBX SUPER 8 will be on at Civic Hall as well as the usual line up of great live concerts.
- Regular events continue at Light House such as the ever-popular Film & TV Quiz and Film Club. The gallery will be displays various exhibition along side the cinema programme such as Ripe Showcase and work from the University of Wolverhampton Photography department.
- Workshops and summer activities will keep the kids entertained throughout the summer holidays at Wolverhampton Art Gallery and also offering a range of events will be Bantock House and Park and Bilston Craft Gallery
- 2008 - A Space Oddity will be the summer's performance in the Arena Theatre's intimate performing space.
Other events and activities to enjoy are Wolverhampton's continuing programme of Access Performances which can be found at the front of this guide. There is also an extensive programme of events and activities at local Libraries including regular events such as City Voices, Chatterbooks, Reading Groups and the Bookstart Baby+ Club.
There are a series of events and themed activities at National Trust (Wightwick Manor and Moseley Old Hall) properties which can be found using the contact details provided in this guide.
This issue also includes details on the India Summer celebrations which will be taking place across the city.
The guide will continue to include admission prices for all of our events as well as providing useful symbols to illustrate a little more about our obscurely titled events!
