Wolverhampton has got everything covered to help you enjoy a summer in the city! A huge choice of events are on offer including live music, theatre, comedy and film to art, dance, outdoor events and sport.
Highlights include:
- Peter Pan, the annual pantomime at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre
- Big names in music such as Elbow, Fratellis, Sigor Ros, Motorhead, Saw Doctors and The Feeling at Civic Hall as well as sporting events including The Grand Slam of Darts.
- Regular events continue at Light House such as the ever-popular Film & TV Quiz and Film Club. The gallery will be displaying various exhibitions such as Imagined Lines by Matthew Hammond as well as the cinema programme which will be screening block busters such as I loved you So Long and a Halloween Special of Dracula!
- Workshops and family activities will keep the kids entertained on the lead up to Christmas at Wolverhampton Art Gallery with events such as Art 4 Kids and Trace your Family Tree. Also, a range of events will be on offer at both Bantock House and Park and Bilston Craft Gallery
- Sweet Tooth, Rivers To Cross, Mutton and Romeo and Juliet are amongst the performances in the Arena Theatre's intimate performing space.
Other events and activities to enjoy are Wolverhampton's continuing programme of Access Performances which can be found at the front of this guide. There is also an extensive programme of events and activities at local Libraries including regular events such as City Voices, Chatterbooks, Reading Groups and the Bookstart Baby+ Club.
There are a series of events and themed activities in OWlverhampton's two National Trust properties - Wightwick Manor and Moseley Old Hall - which can be found using the contact details provided in this guide.
This issue also includes details on the It's Christmas celebrations which will start on November 26 with the Lights Switch-On and events will continue to take place across the city.
The guide will continue to include admission prices for all of our events as well as providing useful information on booking tickets or reserving spaces.
