Bluetooth trials at city venues
Wolverhampton Entertains venues will be using innovative new technology within their venues as a new way of communicating with their audience.
Bluetooth is already used amongst many busineses as a quick and creatve way of sending out exclusive offers, competitions and information updates.
The technology uses a Bluetooth pod that enables the user to upload animations and static images in order to transmit them to mobile phones within a certain radius that have Bluetooth activated.
This trail period will take place over the next few weeks and will allow us to test how popular the mobile phone downloads will be before we launch it to the masses. It will provide us with an alternative to more traditional means of communications such as leaflets and posters.
If you find yourself in one of the Wolverhampton Entertains venues and within the designated 'Bluetooth Zone' then switch on your Bluetooth to receive our completely free downloads.
