Get more smiles per mile

You’re the kind of person who likes to put a smile on people's faces.  You’re caring… and responsible.

You’d make a perfect Home To School Passenger Assistant!

Home to School Passenger Assistants see that children with special educational needs get safely to and from School each day.

It’s a responsible job… but it’s also great fun!

To join our supply pool, you’ll have to be free between 7.15am and 9.45am and between 2.00pm and 5.00pm most school days.  You’ll also need to be available at short notice.

The job pays £6.02 an hour and you’ll also get free First Aid training!

Most posts within the Council are subject to review under the Single Status agreement (Teachers are excluded).  Further details are given in application packs.
