Crossing Patrol Wardens

Local heroes needed for our award-winning team.

Crossing Patrol Wardens play a vital role in the community. Not only do they make sure that children reach school safely - they brighten everyone’s day!

That’s why our Wardens are local heroes. Take Derrick, for instance.

Derrick said ‘all kinds of people come to me at the crossing to help them get over the road safely. From the young to the old, all of the people I help make my job a very worthwhile one.

I was overwhelmed at Christmas when I was given cards from the school children. One in particular stood out and seemed to sum up my job very nicely. The card said, “To Mr Lollipop man - Thank you helping us to cross the busy road.”’

Working between 6 and 10 hours a week, you too could earn a good hourly rate and get holiday pay during the School holidays. Better still, you’ll know that you’re really appreciated - by your employer and by parents and children!

So what are you waiting for?
