Training

Pupils from the start of year 10 can take part in work experience which allows pupils to learn about the world of work and experience the key skills needed in the workplace.  The LEA assists pupils in finding a placement and offers support and advice for pupils during their placement.

Contact us to arrange work experience placements.

Adult training and returners to work

Employment and training providers work with local authorities to provide a number of "Back to Work" initiatives on behalf of the Government.

Each initiative looks at an individual job seeker and tries to place them with an employer who is able to offer the right level of support and work experience over a period up to 32 weeks.

Contact your local Jobcentre for further details.
