Apply for a vacancy online

You can apply for many council vacancies electronically. Follow the instructions below.

1. Complete the application form

Download the application form from the job advert. Save it to your computer and complete it using text processing software. 

Submission of CVs

Please note: We do not accept CVs in place of application forms, unless you are submitting a CV because you have a disability which prevents you from completing the standard application form. Otherwise, applicants may attach a CV in support of a fully completed application form.

2. Return the application form

Return your application form online or by e-mail:

1. Online: Select the submit your application form online link from the bottom of the job advert. Attach your application form and press submit. You will receive an automatic reply by e-mail to confirm we have received your application. (Please note: Not all vacancies provide this option.)  
2. E-mail: Return your application form by e-mail to the address shown on the job advert.
