Interview expenses, references and medical clearance

Interview expenses

You may claim back the travel expenses incurred when attending for an interview with the council. Please ask for a claim form on the day if you have not already been sent one.

Reference policy

Your appointment will be subject to the council receiving two satisfactory references, preferably from previous employers or college tutors.

Medical clearance policy

Your appointment will be subject to medical clearance. All successful applicants are asked to complete a pre-employment medical questionnaire for assessment by the council's occupational health unit.
