Monitoring the housing strategy 2004/05 - 2006/07

Find out more about the progress being made by the Council and its partners in delivering the actions set out in the Housing Strategy 2004/5 - 2005/7 action plan.

Why monitor the housing strategy action plan

The Housing Strategy action plan is made up of 52 targets that are broken down into 92 milestones which are considered priority actions for the City Council and its partners in order to deliver the vision for housing as set out in the Housing Strategy.

By monitoring delivery of these actions the City Council on behalf of Wolverhampton Strategic Housing Partnership (a theme partnership of the Local Strategic Partnership) can track progress that is made by lead organisations/officers to ensure the strategic priorities set out in the Housing Strategy are achieved.

Monitoring takes place on a bi-monthly basis, with quarterly reports presented to Wolverhampton Strategic Housing Partnership. Wider reporting takes place to all key stakeholders, including the residents of the City to whom we are ultimately accountable.

For a more detailed examination of progress made to date in delivering the Housing Strategy priorities please download a copy of the report below, ‘Housing Strategy 2004/05 – 2006/07, Delivering the action plan’, which is in PDF format.
