Homestamp
Homestamp is a partnership group made up of Local Authorities, West Midlands Fire Service and representatives from the private rented sector across the West Midlands.
Aims
The Homestamp partnership aims to:
- encourage the supply of good quality private rented homes
- provide and facilitate information and training for landlords
- consider and respond to regional and national issues affecting the private rented sector
- encourage joint working between all interested parties
Homestamp website
Homestamp have launched a website aimed at improving the safety for tenants in private rented accommodation. The site contains information and advice for landlords including:
- a downloadable set of Fire Safety Standards, detailing the acceptable standards required for private rented accommodation
- a guide for private landlords on licensing issues
