Affordable Warmth website goes live

The Wolverhampton Affordable Warmth Strategy is now available online at www.wolverhampton-affordable-warmth.org.uk This sets out ambitious targets for Wolverhampton in terms of delivering affordable warmth for all residents.

Health Through Warmth - scheme referrers wanted.... we need you!

The npower Health Through Warmth (HTW) scheme continues to be successful in identifying people throughout Wolverhampton whose health is suffering due to living in cold or damp homes.

Over 1,000 people have now been referred since the start of the scheme.  This has only been possible through a number of dedicated referrers who have been trained to identify people who would benefit from warmer and better insulated homes.

If you belong to an organisation that works closely with communities such as a charity or voluntary group YOU could attend a free HTW training session so that you can refer people to the scheme.  Your help will enable HTW to reach as many people as possible.

For more details on training please contact the energy efficiency officer at Wolverhampton City Council on 01902 551346.  Training lasts approximately 1-2 hours and don't forget it is free.
