Bromford Carinthia Housing Association

Service description

Bromford Carinthia Housing Association provides floating support and accommodation based support to vulnerable customers age 18 or over who are recovering from a variety of mental health issues.

Both aim to empower individuals to make their own choices and encourage successful and sustainable tenancies.

How to get support

For floating support, applicants should be referred through the local Community Mental Health Team. It is also possible to be referred by other support agencies, for example your GP.

For accommodation based support, applicants should be referred through the local Community Mental Health Team normally by the allocated care-coordinator. Referral forms are available for both services from the below contact.

Fernbank Care in the Community

Service description

Fernbank Care in the Community provides supported accommodation for single people aged 18 or over who have mental ill health, an alcohol problem and/or a drug problem.

Heantun Housing Association

Service description

Heantun Housing Association provides accommodation based and floating support services for people with a wide range of mental health needs who are aged 18 and over.

There are specific accommodation based services for Asian women, African Caribbean women and African Caribbean men.

Midland Heart -Mental Health Outreach Service

Service description

Midland Heart -Mental Health Outreach Service provides accommodation based and floating support for people aged 18 plus who have mental ill health.

Both types of service aim to empower individuals to make their own choices and encourage successful and sustainable tenancies.

Service Description

P£ offers hostel accommodation providing 24-hour support and access for homeless men including rough sleepers.

Thornley Street consists of 54 bed spaces in 46 single and two shared rooms with four beds in each.
Dickens Lodge consists of 16 bed spaces in single rooms.
Wellington Road consists of 14 bed spaces in single rooms and one shared room for two.

How to get support

All of the above hostels are open 24 hours a day 365 days per year, the service can be accessed at any time through calling the numbers below. The outreach team has a freephone number to call for help.

Wolverhampton City Council - Tenancy Sustainment Team

Service Description

The Tenancy Sustainment Team provides floating support for people in order to help people to maintain their tenancies. There are specific Tenancy Sustainment Officers for people with mental health needs who have their own tenancy and are at risk of eviction.

How to get support

Support is accessed via the SRF (Single Referral Forum). Referral can be made by an organisation or agency or by self referral. Telephone the below number for a referral form.
