Learning disabilities
We help people with a learning disability lead more independent lives through our joint Learning Disability Team.
How we can help
We can help people with a learning disability who:
- are aged 18 and over
- live in Wolverhampton
- need health and or social care support.
We work together with people with a learning disability and their carer to make sure that they are given the support and help needed. This could be about individual needs, rights, independence or choices.
We can give advice on health, housing, keeping safe, life skills, mobility, managing behaviour and benefits/money.
For more information, visit our dedicated page detailing the support we offer to people with a learning disability, which includes information about helping find out about the world of work. Alternatively, we also produce a range of easy-to-read leaflets for people with a learning disability which include information about our services.
