Involving you in adult social care

We believe it is vitally important to involve the users and future users of our services to be involved in developing the services that we, and our partners, provide for them.

We have a number of ways in which people can take part in the development of our services.

Current consultations

Visit the current consultations page to enable you to have your say on any service changes and consultations currently open.

This includes the consultation on the Savings Programme for Adults and Community.

Previous consultations

Details of previous consultations and reports relating to an earlier Savings Programme and the Every Adult Matters strategy are available by clicking on the link.

Participation team

The participation team welcomes the opportunity to share with you and provide information about consultation, participation and involvement activities including the development of adult social care services.

We would like to encourage as many people as possible to become involved, so why not find out how you could participate and help to develop services.

Involving older people

There are various ways in which older people can become involved and participate in service development.

We have an Older People's Partnership Board which works to develop and deliver services aimed at older people, an Over 50's Forum giving older people the chance to have their voice heard and to discuss and highlight issues affecting their lives, a Carers Task Group and other service user groups.

Visit our section on Involving Older People for more details of these and more.
