Annual survey
Each year the Council carries out a residents' survey. In 2006 this survey was carried out on behalf of the Department of Communities and Local Government, which use such surveys to collect residents’ views of their local services. These surveys occur once every 3 years and are carried out by all relevant authorities, for example, councils.
The survey was carried out in accordance with the guidance provided. Postal questionnaires were sent out to a randomly selected group of residents in Wolverhampton between September and November 2006. 1472 useable questionnaires were returned, providing a response rate of 37%.
Over the coming days we will be uploading a series of fact sheets, providing quick and easy access to the key results of the survey.
The results of the relevant Best Value Performance Indicators are also published on the Audit Commission’s website.
