Referendums

Examples of Referendums are when the Government holds a national referendum enabling the nation to vote on an important single issue or when the Council is petitioned by local people to hold a local Mayoral election.

Local people in Wolverhampton have an option to petition the Council to hold a referendum on whether the mayor should be elected.
