Local election results - 1 May 2008

Local elections were held on 1 May 2008 to elect councillors for 20 seats on Wolverhampton City Council.

The political share of seats are as follows:

  • Labour: 28 seats (-8 seats)
  • Conservative: 27 seats (+8 seats)
  • Liberal Democrat: 5 seats (+1 seat)  
  • Independent: 0 seat (-1 seat)
