Publication Scheme

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“The FOIA”) every public authority is required to adopt and maintain a Publication Scheme.

The Scheme:

aims to provide the public with a structured listing of any information released by the Council with an undertaking to make it available to all.
sets out how the Council intends to publish different information which is available and whether there is a charge for providing it. The process should ensure that a significant amount of information is available without the need for a specific request to be made.
