We are undergoing huge changes in the way we deliver services to customers. The council's transformation programme includes the Social Care Programme, Building Schools for the Future, the Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT)/Private Finance Initiative (PFI) project and the search for a strategic partner to help us achieve our aim of becoming an excellent-rated council by 2012.
