Remembrance Tributes

In the week leading up to Remembrance day the Mayor’s office has received a number of enquiries about the laying of tributes.

Although the City has no specific Garden of Remembrance, members of the public are invited to place their poppy crosses in one of two places:

  • in front of the fountain in St. Peter's Gardens, Lichfield Street
  • on the grassed area to the side of the Cenotaph off St. Peter's Square.

Remembrance wreaths can be placed on the stone steps leading up to the Cenotaph in the usual way.

For further information please contact The Mayor's Office, telephone 01902 554090 or email mayoral@wolverhampton.gov.uk
