Childminders to celebrate their achievements
More than 40 childminders will be recognised for their achievements at a celebration evening in Wolverhampton.
The event is organised by the city council’s Early Years and Childcare Service to recognise people from the local area who have:
- Successfully achieved Unit One of the Diploma in Homebase Childcare Studies and have completed the process of registration with Ofsted in the last 12 months
Attended training and are currently going through the process of registration with Ofsted
- Successfully achieved an overall level Outstanding result during their Ofsted quality inspection
The celebration evening will take place at Linden House, Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton, tonight, Thursday March 20.
Sharman Shepherd, Support Childminder Co-ordinator said: “This is an opportunity to raise the profile of the outstanding work that childminders can offer to families and children within our city.
“The evening also demonstrates the commitment that the Early Years and Childcare Service has to supporting childcare providers throughout the city in raising the quality of care for Wolverhampton children.”
