Flooding update - 29 July 2008

Graiseley Community Healthy Living Centre

Graiseley Community Healthy Living Centre will not open today due to flooding following last night’s torrential downpour.

Many of the downstairs rooms, including the reception area, fitness suite and fitness clinic are currently waterlogged and staff members are undertaking a ‘mop up’ operation with specialist equipment.

The facility in Pool Street, Graiseley, normally opens from 12.00noon until 9.00pm on Tuesdays but will remain closed all day today (Tuesday 29 July) while the clear up takes place.

Further information about the likely opening of the facility will be publicised when it becomes available.
