Wolverhampton Mayor, Councillor Trudy Bowen, is extending a Pancake Day invitation to the Mayoral Suite to celebrate Shrove Tuesday on February 5th.
The event starts at 10.30am and the ticket price, of just £3.00 per person, includes traditional pancakes, a cup of tea or coffee and entertainment from city organist Steve Tovey. Admission is by ticket only which are available from the Mayor's Parlour.
Tickets are also still available for the 'Civic Night at the Dogs' at Monmore Green Stadium on Thursday, April 17th, at 7.00pm.
Local organisation or businesses can promote themselves by sponsoring a race for £100. Tickets, priced at £25.00, which include admission, race card and a three-course meal, are available from the Mayor's Parlour.
All proceeds from both events are in aid of the Mayor's chosen charities which are Khandel Light, SSAFA Forces Help and the Rheumatology Out-Patient Department at New Cross Hospital.
