Learn new healthy living skills

Wolverhampton City Council Adult Education Service’s Healthy Living Team are launching a series of short courses, covering subjects including first aid, food hygiene and cooking healthy - and tasty - meals.
The courses will give people everyday skills that can be used at home or in the workplace.
The six-week First Aid course aims to give people more confidence when dealing with an emergency in the home or if they are at the scene of an accident. It runs from 7pm-9pm on Wednesdays, beginning on April 23rd.
The food hygiene course is aimed at anyone who wants to work in the catering industry and runs from 10am–4pm on Friday and Saturday, May 2nd and 3rd. And a nine-week Learn to Cook Simple, Tasty and Healthy Meals course will give people inspiration and hands on skills. It runs from 6.45pm -8.45pm on Thursdays from April 24th.
People interested in taking part are being encouraged to enrol early to guarantee a place.
