Invite to join Heathfield Park neighbourhood panels

Released: 12 February 2008

Wolverhampton residents are being invited to work with Heathfield Park Local Neighbourhood Partnership to influence the way services are delivered.

The partnership is looking for people who live or work in Heath Park, Heath Town, New Park Village or Springfield to join four small neighbourhood panels. Members of the panels will be able to highlight issues that matter to residents and feed these back for the wider partnership to address.

Heathfield Park Local Neighbourhood Partnership brings together representatives from the local community, city council, businesses, voluntary organisations and other partners from health, environment and education on a regular basis. Together they identify neighbourhood priorities and suggest projects or changes in service delivery to help improve the quality of life for local residents.

Members of the partnership also help develop and monitor an action plan for the area. Meetings are held monthly at a local venue and last around one hour.

Anyone who lives in any of the four neighbourhoods and would like to get involved is asked to contact Jessica at Heathfield Park Local Neighbourhood Partnership by calling 01902 550595 or e-mailing heathfieldpark@btconnect.com. Alternatively write to the partnership at Heath Town Community Centre, 208 Chervil Rise, Heath Town, Wolverhampton, WV10 0HP.

Issued by the press office.
