Caribbean-inspired performers at Pendeford

Popular local performers Mahogany T’ree will bring their magical mix of Caribbean-inspired poetry, storytelling and dance to an audience at Pendeford Library on Monday night (17 September).
The trio, made up of Coral Pearce, Ita Gooden and Prudencia Brown, will appear at the library in Whitburn Road from 7 to 8.30pm. The focus of their performance will be the achievements of black men and women through history and in modern times.
Simon Fletcher, Wolverhampton City Council’s literature development worker, said: “This is an exciting opportunity to catch Mahogany T’ree in Wolverhampton. They are building up a good reputation for light-hearted but thoughtful family entertainment.”
