'Melting Pot' market comes to Wolverhampton

Speciality food, clothes, accessories and hot meals from around the world are being brought to Wolverhampton city centre soon in the aptly named ‘Melting Pot’ market.
The event, which takes place in Dudley Street from Thursday 27 September to Saturday 29 September 2007, promises to take shoppers on a journey around the world with the aromas and tastes of a variety of countries and continents being brought to Wolverhampton’s doorstep.
Peruvian clothing from South America will vie for the attention of the discerning browser along with handmade Madagascan jewellery and basket ware, leather accessories and Marseille soaps.
Moroccan honey pastries, Brittany biscuits from France and over 20 varieties of Turkish Delights will tempt the sweet-toothed.
Traditional French charcuteries (cold meats) and speciality German and French sausage, together with olives, spices, fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables from the continent will also be available.
This colourful and vibrant new market experience will be held in Dudley Street for just three days, Thursday 27 September to Saturday 29 September, from 9am to 4pm each day.
