History of valley guided walk at Smestow

Released: 19 October 2007

Local residents are invited to join the ranger at Smestow Valley Local Nature Reserve next Tuesday 23 October, for a guided walk.

Starting at 2pm and finishing around 4pm, the walk will be a leisurely afternoon stroll around the reserve and an opportunity to learn about the human influences on the valley over the years.

The ranger will be on hand to point out anything of interest so it is also an ideal opportunity to learn about the wildlife that lives within Smestow Valley.

Families with children over the age of eight are welcome and refreshments will be available at the end of the walk.

If you want to book a place or find out more, please contact the ranger on 01902 552351.

Issued by the press office.
