New writers' group in Blakenhall
Released: 27 March 2007
Are you interested in writing? Do you pen the occasional poem or short story? Do you want to develop your writing confidence? Then come along to the latest writers’ group to be set up by Wolverhampton Libraries.
Three exciting workshops, starting in April, have been planned at Blakenhall Community Centre, Dudley Road, by Simon Fletcher, the literature development worker, and all are welcome.
“From the feedback we’ve had so far we’re convinced that a writing group in Blakenhall will be a great success and I’d encourage anyone who enjoys creative writing, poetry, stories and reminiscence to come along,” said Simon.
The sessions will be from 11am-1pm on Saturdays April 14th, May 12th and June 9th and it is hoped to continue after that date on the second Saturday of the month.
If this is for you then please contact Simon Fletcher on 01902 552061 for more information or by email.
