Wolverhampton's entertainment venues on track to give away some great prizes

Venues that make up Wolverhampton Entertains are giving visitors to Ladies Day at the city’s racecourse a reason to dress to impress.

Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Civic & Wulfrun Halls, Light House, Arena Theatre and Grand Theatre, which make up Wolverhampton Entertains, are sponsoring prizes for the Best Dressed Lady, the Best Dressed Couple and the Best Hat.

Sarah-Jane Mee from 100.7 Heart FM and Central Tonight will be judging the competition at the event which takes place on Friday June 29 at Wolverhampton Racecourse, Dunstall Park.

The prizes provided by Wolverhampton Entertains will include:

  • Two tickets to see Jim Davidson at the Civic Hall in November
  • Two tickets to see Chicago at the Grand Theatre in September
  • Two season tickets to all eight of the Charles Vance's Summer Rep performances at the Arena Theatre during July and August
  • Two tickets to a film of the winner’s choice at the Light House Cinema
  • A complimentary lunch for two at Wolverhampton Art Gallery during the Welcome Exhibition which runs from June to September

Amanda Thomas, Marketing Manager at Wolverhampton Racecourse said: "We're delighted that Wolverhampton Entertains is supporting our Ladies Day with some great prizes at local venues. There is a great offer for ladies who pre-book and with all the prizes on offer for our competitions it's bound to be a superb afternoon."
