Bat and Moth night at Smestow Valley nature reserve

Bats and moths will be the main attraction at a special night walk organised around Wolverhampton’s Smestow Valley Nature Reserve. The event on Monday 6 august starts at 8pm and will finish late in the evening.

Local experts Simon Phipps and Dave Grundy will have bat detectors and moth traps at the ready. They will be able to identify the many varieties of bats and moths that live in the valley and answer questions.

Children over the age of eight are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Refreshments will be available at the end of the walk.
