Butterfly ramble - guided walk

Released: 12 July 2007

Residents will be invited to look out for butterflies and dragonflies during a guided walk at Smestow Valley Local Nature Reserve next week.

Local experts Anita Ferguson and Phil Hopson will lead the walk on Tuesday 17 July.

The leisurely stroll around the reserve will start at 2pm and will finish at around 4pm.

During the walk, Anita and Phil will be on hand to describe the fascinating life histories of the butterflies and dragonflies that are spotted.

Families with children over the age of eight are welcome and refreshments will be available at the end of the walk.

To book a place or find out more, please contact the ranger on 01902 552351. More information about the nature reserve can be found at www.wolverhampton.gov.uk/smestow.
