Not only did we yet again have excellent weather on Marathon day but we had a fantastic numbers of entrants taking part in all four events – the Marathon, Half Marathon, Relay Challenge and Cycle Event, not forgetting the Children's Mini Marathon.

We are delighted that the event has this year raised profits of £24,800 to be shared between the four very worthwhile, local Charities and are extremely pleased at the level of support the event has received from the Charities themselves, the key management team and of course the Sponsors, without whom the event could not take place.  A big thank you to everyone involved”.
