Heathfield Park local neighbourhood partnership annual review celebrations

Released: 6 December 2007

Heathfield Park residents are invited to a special event to celebrate the local neighbourhood partnership’s first year and look ahead to what can be achieved in 2008.

The first annual Heathfield Park Local Neighbourhood Partnership event will be held at Holy Trinity Church Hall, Church Street, Heath Park, on Tuesday 11 December from 4pm to 6.30pm.

Set up as part of Wolverhampton City Council’s Local Area and Neighbourhood Arrangements, the partnership aims to bring together representatives from the local community, voluntary sector, key public agencies and businesses to improve local services and the quality of life for residents.

The celebration will include a review of the partnership’s inaugural year and a look at the delivery of its action plan which outlines what will be done to meet needs identified by residents.

Throughout the evening, guests can enjoy a performance from New Park Village cheerleaders and dancers, activities for children, a light buffet and the opportunity to socialise with other residents.

The partnership team will also present an annual report and conduct elections for members to join the partnership board.

Anyone who would like to apply to be a member of the board can obtain a nomination form or discuss what is involved in being a member by calling Jessica or Jas at the partnership on 01902 552791.

Assistance may be available for residents who require transport to the event. Please contact Jessica or Jas on the number above before 7 December to make arrangements.
