Visitors Guide front cover

New guide to Wolverhampton attracts attention

Released: 2 August 2007

A new-look visitor guide to Wolverhampton is out now.

The ever-popular Wolverhampton Attractions Guide, now in its fourth year, has undergone a makeover, changing its name to Wolverhampton Visitor Guide.

The comprehensive 52-page booklet produced by Wolverhampton City Council contains information on the many places to visit in the city and the surrounding area.

It details more than 50 attractions aimed at both visitors and residents, ranging from free parks to renowned concert halls, as well as useful contact and travel information. Tips on where to stay and eat out have also been added for the first time.

Barbara Kay, Wolverhampton City Council’s Head of Development and Tourism, said: “We hope the Wolverhampton Visitor Guide helps to give both our visitors and our residents a warm welcome to the city and encourages them to see some of the great attractions we have to offer.”

The Wolverhampton Visitor Guide is available for free from the Visitor Information Centre in Queen Square and other public buildings including libraries and community centres. The Visitor Information Centre also stocks a range of quirky city souvenirs, postcards and stamps and holiday brochures.

For more information call the Visitor Information Centre on 01902 556110 or visit www.visitwolverhampton.info.
