Our press office issues press releases about events and activities taking place in Wolverhampton, as well as information about the council's policies and decisions taken by Cabinet.

The press office also responds to enquiries from representatives of the media about the council.

Press releases are sent to the media to help publicise initiatives and projects which are happening in the city and are therefore of general interest to local residents.

They aim to increase public awareness of the services provided by the authority and the functions the council performs as well as explain the reasons for particular policies and priorities to ensure maximum understanding of what the council does.
