Top ten things that would make Wolverhampton a better place for young people

Young people in Wolverhampton were asked to take part in survey. The aim of the survey was to find out what young people thought about living and growing up in Wolverhampton.

The responses to the survey have been grouped together and ranked in order of priority.

The list below shows the top ten ideas from young people for making Wolverhampton a better place in the future.

  1. More things for young people to see and do- 154 (25%)
  2. Make Wolverhampton a greener/cleaner place - 147(24%)
  3. Make the streets safer/less violence - 63(10%)
  4. Less crime/stronger law enforcement - 29 (5%)
  5. Other 23 - (4%) Other
  6. Being good citizens.- 22 (4%)
  7. Safe places to meet/chill and play.-18 (3%) 
  8. Better schools/education - 18 (3%)
  9. Revamp the area/buildings - 13(2%)
  10. More police/better policing - 12 (2%)

The figure in brackets is the percentage of total responses to the survey.
