Scrutiny reviews

Scrutiny reviews are in-depth investigations of a specific issue. Recommendations from the review are presented to the Cabinet or Wolverhampton Primary Care Trust.

Scrutiny review groups address issues which can benefit from the intervention of Scrutiny and where it can add value. For example, the review should result in better services.

Elected Members can also decide to hold shorter reviews, sometimes for a single meeting, to look at an issue put forward by Councillors with advice from Council officers.

Completed Scrutiny reviews

Each review publishes a report summarising the evidence collected and recommendations for change.
