The Working with Communities and Community Safety Cabinet Team is responsible for:

• helping to strengthen and improve communities
  
• working with others to deal with crime and the fear and consequences
  of crime for our citizens
  
• improving and sustaining the quality of the local environment.

Current Membership comprises:

Councillors Mrs C Irvine (Chair and Portfolio Holder, Education), M S Jaspal (Portfolio Holder, Transportation), Mrs L M Miles (Portfolio Holder, Economic Development) and P E O'Neill (Portfolio Holder, Leisure)

Meetings of this Cabinet Team are held in the Civic Centre on Thursdays at 6 pm and are open to the public.
