Licensing Committee
The Licensing Committee discharges the functions of the Council in relation to a wide range of licenses, including Hackney Carriages and Private Hire Vehicles, Liquor and Regulated Entertainment, Cinemas and Theatres, Street and House to House Collections, Pet Shops, Amusement Machines etc.
The Licensing Committee is also responsible for environmental protection matters such as control of pollution, contaminated land, noise nuisance and control of dangerous substances.
