Contacts – Members’ support

Members' Support provides support services for Councillors' to assist them with practical and information needs.

The Office ensures Councillors' are equipped to carry out their various roles in the context of the local government modernisation agenda.

Administration of the Councillors’ Learning and Development Programme (CLDP) is also looked after by Members' Support. CLDP is aimed at identifying the knowledge and skills Councillors' need to work effectively. Training and courses are then arranged for Councillors' who wish to participate.
