Complaints and Compliments

The Local Taxes Division believes in listening to your views and providing a quality service.

We want to hear from you if there is any occasion when a problem occurs or where you feel you received excellent service. We will apologise if we make a mistake and put the matter right as soon as possible.

If you wish to make a Complaint or Compliment, the Local Taxes Division follows the Council's Complaints and Compliments procedure.

How to Contact Us

  • Call in at any of the Council's offices, the Civic Centre or speak to any member of staff.
  • Use the leaflet and form available from any Council office.
  • Write a letter. In addition to making your comments, please let us know if you have made a complaint about the same problem before, and if possible tell us what you would like to see as a result of your complaint. Please include a telephone number and postal address where we can contact you to respond to your comments.
  • For Finance queries, Phone (01902) 554500
  • Minicom users can telephone 554086.
  • Copies of the leaflet and form are also available in Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Panjabi and Urdu.
  • The Complaints and Compliments Procedure is also available on audio cassette from your local library.
