Banking Services awards and accreditations

Charter Mark

Banking Services attained the Charter Mark Standard in February 2006 which is held for three years. This standard is reassessed annually.

Charter Mark’s ‘Excellence in the delivery of Public Services’ standard, is awarded when staff give the highest quality of service to our customers.

Investor in People

Banking Services attained the Investors In People standard in August 2005 which is held for three years. During 2008 we will be reapplying for this standard.

This is a national standard which sets a level of good practice for the training and development of people.  It recognises our commitment to the continuous training and development of staff at all levels.

'Training Journal' awards

These awards are intended to celebrate excellence within the training industry and organisations that encourage and promote good practice in learning and development.

Banking Services was entered the ‘Best Public Service Training Initiative’, category.  This recognised the work of the service in delivering its telephone debt recovery programme.

We were also entered into the ‘Coach of the Year’ category and were short listed to the final three entries.
