Frequency of bin emptying

Wolverhampton City Council is responsible for 1,254 litter bins situated within its boundary.

Litter bins are emptied at the time of cleansing programmed for that area.

  1. The City Centre and other town centres/hotspots are emptied on a daily basis.
  2. The majority of litter bins situated elsewhere are emptied no less than once a fortnight.
