Entry permit scheme

As of Monday 14 August 2006 an entry permit scheme is in opperation at Shaw Road for vans, pick-ups, trailers and commercial type vehicles arriving with materials for recycling.

An information guide explaining the scheme and application form is available for download.

Opening times

Summer - 1 April to 30 September

  • 8am - 8pm, Monday to Friday
  • 8am - 4.30pm, Saturday and Sunday

Winter - 1 October to 31 March

  • Closed on 25 and 26 December 2007, and 1 January 2008
  • 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday
  • 8am to 4.30pm, Saturday and Sunday
