Waste Management Strategy 2006 to 2026

Wolverhampton's Waste Management Strategy outlines Wolverhampton City Council's plans for waste management from 2006 to 2026.

Local authorities must find ways of reducing their dependence on disposing of waste to landfill by moving towards more sustainable ways of waste management whilst trying to reduce the growth in waste.

The strategy sets out how the council, in partnership with Enterprise Plc, intends to invest in and provide the best possible waste and recycling services and outcomes for everyone.

Strategy consultation

From Monday 13 August 2007 to Friday 24 October 2007, we are inviting comments about the Waste Management Strategy 2006 to 2026.
