City Centre Strategy and Action Plan

The Council has recently published the City Centre Strategy and Action Plan following an extensive programme of public consultation, including an exhibition in the Mander Centre. 

The new plan has been produced in partnership with the Wolverhampton City Centre Company, Advantage West Midlands (the Regional Development Agency for the West Midlands) and the St. Johns Urban Village Board. It promotes a shared vision and strategy for the future of the City Centre, provides a focus for attracting investment and contains a co-ordinated programme for implementation of the project by partners and other key agencies.

All comments received during the consultation period were carefully considered by the Council and its partners before the plan was finalised in January 2005.
